Network of Women NOW is launching a four-part fundraising campaign in September/October 2022 in honor of International Day of the Girl Child. The End Period Poverty Fundraising Campaign’s purpose is to raise monetary as well as feminine hygiene supplies for women and young girls in Louisiana, and for those who live in vulnerable communities around the world. Proceeds from this campaign will provide financial support towards the completion of successful projects that inspire and nurture the dreams of women and young girls.
To reach our goals, we have planned a series of events which will include: a silent auction, a live band, a feature film, merchandise, and networking opportunities. With the support of our stakeholders and local community, the most vulnerable will be able to benefit immensely through a continuum of services and social cohesion that advocates for women’s equality.
The main events are:
Network of Women NOW Intro Film (Friday, September 30, 2022 @ 6:30PM on our YouTube Channel)
End Period Poverty Fundraiser Cocktail Party (Saturday, October 1, 2022, The Guru Baton Rouge @ 6:30PM - 9:30PM) Tickets are on sale now at Eventbrite.
