Oak Park Brew Company Hosts 2nd Annual Paint the Globe Foundation Experience in Sacramento, CA on April 23, 2022

Network of Women NOW collaborated with Paint the Globe Foundation (PTGF) and Oak Park Brew Company for the 2nd Annual Paint the Globe Foundation Fundraiser. This year’s theme focused on “Women Empowerment.” The Oak Park brewery team (Rodg, Rebecca, Geoff, and Brittany) work with leaders of NOW and PTGF, as well as local groups in the Sacramento, California area to make this event a success.  The fundraiser was a post event for an online Silent Art Auction and supply drive that took place on March 26, 2022.  The top six art pieces that sold at the auction won the artists a coveted honor of having their artwork printed on the cans of a special beer brew for this occasion.

The event featured a special pairing of brews and local artists from Sacramento. The program’s guest speakers were the founders of Network of Women NOW, Deidra Mwalimu and Gabriel Williams of Paint the Globe Foundation. A feature film was presented by Gabriel Williams.  Dancers and singers set the stage on fire.  Everyone had a chance to meet the artists who participated in this event.
